When can I book, and when do deliveries start?
You can reserve right now. Our totes are arriving and being branded through July, and our first deliveries begin August 1, 2026. When you book, just pick any delivery date on or after August 1 — lock in your spot today and we’ll be ready when you are.
How does it actually work?
Three steps: we deliver a clean stack of totes and a dolly to your door, you pack and move on your own schedule, and we come back to pick up the empties. No assembly, no tape, no trips to recycle cardboard.
Are you a moving company?
No — we’re not movers. We rent out clean, reusable, stackable totes (and dollies) and handle delivery and pickup. The packing and the move itself are up to you or your moving crew. Our job is to make the boxes the easy part and keep a pile of cardboard out of the landfill.
How many totes do I need?
A rough guide: a studio or 1-bedroom runs about 20 totes (Starter), a 2-bedroom about 30 (Standard), a 3-bedroom about 45 (Family), and a 4-bedroom or larger about 60 (Large). If you’re a heavy packer, add a set of 10 — better to have a few extra than run short mid-move.
How long do I keep them, and can I extend?
Most rentals run two weeks — about a week to pack and a week to unpack and settle in — so that’s the default when you book. Only need one week? Drop it to one at checkout and save $30. Want longer? Add weeks for $30 each, or just reach out and we can extend an active rental.
Where do you deliver, and what does it cost?
Anywhere within about 60 miles of Ridgeway, VA. Delivery is free in the Core zone (Martinsville, Collinsville, Bassett, Fieldale, Eden). Farther zones add a delivery fee and run on scheduled days — enter your ZIP at the top of the page to see your zone.
Are the totes clean?
Yes. Every tote is wiped down and inspected between rentals, so it arrives ready to pack.
What size are the totes?
Each tote is 27.3″ long × 17.2″ wide × 12.6″ tall (Monoflo DC 2717-12 SP) — 2.5 cubic feet, rated to hold 50 lbs. Each weighs 7.4 lbs empty. They’re a consistent size on purpose, so they stack tight and load efficiently.
Do I need to clean the totes before returning them?
No — we handle cleaning and sanitizing between every rental. Just empty them and, if something spilled, give it a quick wipe so nothing soaks in. That’s it.
How much can each tote hold?
About 50 lbs. They’re rigid and stack securely — just spread heavy items like books across several totes so each one stays easy to lift and carry.
Do I need to be home for delivery and pickup?
It helps, but it’s not always required. If you tell us where to leave or grab the stack, we can often handle it without you there. We’ll confirm the plan when you book.
When will you deliver, and how will I know you’re coming?
We set a delivery and pickup window with you when you book and confirm it by email. Then we’ll text you when we’re on our way — with an estimated arrival window — and again once we arrive, so you’re never left guessing. Need an unusual time? Note it at checkout and we’ll do our best to work around your schedule.
How do I pay, and is my card safe?
You pay in full at booking to reserve your dates, with VA/NC sales tax added at checkout. Card payments run through Stripe’s secure checkout — we never see or store your card number.
Can I buy totes instead of renting?
We’re built around rentals, but if you need totes for the long haul — an ongoing project, a business, or recurring moves —
get in touch and we’ll talk through options that make sense.
What if a tote is damaged or doesn’t come back?
Normal wear is on us. Lost or damaged totes and dollies carry a flat replacement fee, and totes returned excessively dirty may have a small cleaning fee. The full breakdown is in our

Can I label or write on the totes?
Please don’t use stickers, adhesive labels, or permanent markers on the totes or lids. If you want to mark what’s inside, use removable painter’s tape or a tie-on tag and peel it off before pickup — it keeps the totes clean for the next customer and keeps you clear of any cleaning fee.
Can I cancel or reschedule?
Yes — life happens. Let us know as early as you can and we’ll reschedule or refund your payment per the timelines in our
terms.
Do you rent for events, storage, or businesses?
Absolutely. Festivals, races, vendor load-ins, renovations, estate cleanouts, and college move-out and summer storage are all in our wheelhouse. Tell us what you need in the booking notes and we’ll put together a quote.
Are your totes good for dorm move-in and move-out?
Perfect for it. Dorm moves are fast, high-volume, and messy — cardboard fails under the chaos. Our totes are waterproof, stack 5 high, and hold 50+ lbs each, so RAs and parents can stage whole floors in minutes. No tape, no cleanup. We service VA Tech, Liberty, Wake Forest, Radford, Hollins, and surrounding campuses within our 60-mile radius. For larger August move-in volume or May move-out and summer storage, reach out — we can coordinate with housing offices and campus move teams.
Do you help with water damage, fire, or emergency cleanup?
Yes. When a pipe bursts, roof leaks, flooding happens, or fire strikes, you need clean, waterproof containers ASAP — not cardboard that disintegrates. Our totes protect belongings during emergency pack-out and restoration. If you need emergency delivery, call us immediately at 276-226-0409 and we’ll prioritize your request. We also work with insurance adjusters and restoration crews on site.
What if I’m just outside the 60-mile area?
