1. The agreement
These terms are between you (the “renter”) and BCT Tote Rentals, a service of BCT Enterprises, LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”). Placing a reservation and paying a deposit means you’ve read and agreed to them.
2. What’s included
Your rental includes the number of plastic totes and rolling dollies listed in your chosen package, plus any add-ons you select. Totes and dollies remain the property of BCT Enterprises, LLC at all times — you’re renting their use, not buying them.
3. Rental period & extensions
- Each package is a one-week rental, starting on your delivery date.
- Need more time? Add weeks at booking, or contact us before your pickup date. Additional weeks are billed at $30 per week (or part of a week).
- If totes aren’t ready at the scheduled pickup and we haven’t arranged an extension, the rental may roll into another billable week.
4. Delivery & pickup
- We deliver to and collect from the address you provide, within our service area (about 60 miles of Ridgeway, VA).
- Delivery fees and scheduling depend on your zone, shown when you enter your ZIP code at booking. Core-zone delivery is free; Metro and Outer zones carry a fee, a minimum order, and run on scheduled days.
- Please have totes empty, lids closed, and stacked for collection at the agreed time and place.
5. Deposit & payment
- A 25% deposit is due at booking to reserve your dates. The remaining balance is due at delivery.
- Card payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Any damage, loss, or cleaning fees (see below) may be billed after pickup to the card or contact on file.
6. Care & proper use
- Keep each tote within its rated capacity of roughly 50 lbs. Spread heavy items across multiple totes.
- Use totes for ordinary household and business goods. Do not use them for hazardous, flammable, illegal, or hazardous-waste materials, or for anything wet, perishable, or leaking that could damage the totes.
- Don’t write on, paint, drill, or otherwise modify the totes or dollies, and keep the attached lids with each tote.
- Use dollies on reasonable surfaces and within their weight rating; don’t ride or overload them.
7. Damage, loss & cleaning fees
Normal wear from regular use is expected and on us. Totes or dollies that are lost, broken, or returned excessively dirty are billed at the flat rates below:

8. Cancellations & rescheduling
- Cancel or reschedule 48 or more hours before your delivery date for a full deposit refund or a no-cost date change.
- Within 48 hours of delivery, your deposit is non-refundable but can be applied to a rescheduled rental within 60 days.
- Reach out as early as you can — we’ll work with you whenever we reasonably can.
9. Liability
Totes and dollies are provided for general moving and storage use. You’re responsible for safely packing, lifting, and transporting your own belongings. BCT Enterprises, LLC isn’t responsible for damage to, or loss of, the contents you pack, or for injury or property damage resulting from overloading, improper stacking, or misuse of the equipment. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the rental.
10. Service area & scheduling
We serve approximately a 60-mile radius of Ridgeway, VA, priced by drive-time zone. Delivery and pickup days for Metro and Outer zones are scheduled and confirmed after you book. If you’re near the edge of our area, submit a booking and we’ll confirm whether we can reach you.
11. Privacy
We collect only the information needed to fulfill your booking — your name, contact details, addresses, and rental details. We use it to schedule, deliver, and follow up on your rental, and we don’t sell it. Payment information is handled by Stripe under their own terms and privacy policy; we don’t store card numbers.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect when you book is the one that applies to your rental.
