If you're a parent, student, or RA preparing for dorm move-in, here's the truth: reusable plastic totes are the move. Literally.
Cardboard boxes? They crush. They bend. By the time you're carrying the third one up three flights of stairs, the bottom one is a pancake and your stuff is spilling everywhere. Plastic totes with lids? They stack 5 high and hold their shape. Your lamp won't explode halfway up the dorm stairwell.

Our totes hold 50 lbs each and stack 5 high. Don't be a hero and pack them to 70 lbs. Your back will hate you, and you'll destroy the lid.
All bedding together, all clothes together. On move-in day, you can unpack strategically instead of opening random totes to find your pillow.
Many students keep totes in their dorm year-round for seasonal stuff. Lighter totes near the top of the closet, heavier ones at the bottom. It's free dorm storage.
